Creatine kinase (CK) is an enzyme found primarily in skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and brain tissue. It is commonly measured to assess muscle injury or damage and may assist in the evaluation of conditions such as myocardial infarction, rhabdomyolysis, and other muscle-related disorders.
