Free Thyroxine(FT4)
Free T4 (thyroxine) is the biologically active, unbound form of thyroid hormone circulating in the blood. It is commonly measured together with thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) to evaluate thyroid gland function and to help identify thyroid disorders, particularly when TSH levels are outside the normal range.
The findings related to these particular clinical tests are a general guide and do not cover every possible scenario, this is because every patient is unique and these results only have true clinical significance when combined with the patient’s full medical history, a physical exam, and other diagnostic findings.
