Follicle-Stimulating Hormone

FSH is a key reproductive hormone involved in the regulation of ovarian and testicular function. It plays an important role in follicle development in females and spermatogenesis in males.

Measurement of FSH is commonly used in the assessment of menstrual irregularities, infertility, menopause, and suspected gonadal dysfunction. It is often interpreted alongside luteinising hormone (LH) to provide a more complete evaluation of reproductive endocrine status.
