Hepatitis B surface antibody (anti-HBs) is a marker of immunity to hepatitis B virus, which may develop following vaccination or recovery from past infection. The presence of anti-HBs is generally considered protective, with levels above 10 mIU/mL commonly regarded as indicative of adequate immunity.
